The Women of Wine Charities Sangria Throwdown has quickly become one of our largest and most successful events. The event showcases Houston’s top sommeliers and mixologists competing for the most creative sangria, with a People’s Choice award, a Judges’ Top Sangria award, and a Judges’ Most Creative Sangria Award from a panel of food media professionals

We’ll be throwing-down at Mercedes-Benz of Houston Greenway. Expect a slew of mixologists and sommeliers showing off their best Sangria recipes, great food, a silent auction, a raffle for a kid’s ride-in mini Mercedes-Benz 300SL, and the popular Wheel of Wine game.
