Monique has been in the wine business for over 20 years. She currently works on the National Account team at Pernod Ricard focusing on Wine and Champagne.  Monique feels fortunate to have started her wine career in the Texas Wine Industry with Messina Hof, and then spent 16 years with the E&J Gallo Family. Her specialty is in creating interesting and profitable wine programs that benefit her customer and their guests. Monique’s passion lies in wine education, helping people to connect to the magic of the grape. She spent 5 years as an adjunct professor at the Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management at the University of Houston. And, she still presents educational programs to a number of industry organizations. Monique’s love goes to her Rocket Scientist husband. They share a love of travel and bad movies.

Monique is a Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a Certified Specialist of Wine, a Certified Specialist of Spirits. She is a founding member of WOW,   an active member of NACE, and the President of her Sunday school class at First Methodist Church downtown Houston.
